For the Operation
of the Solidarity Movement and Struggle for the Rights of Refugees and Immigrants
The participants agreed on the framework with the positions for the formation of the Movement (attached) and approved the following operating framework.
OPERATING FRAMEWORK
We are establishing a mass Movement with a nationwide network that is formed with members from refugees and immigrants from different ethnicities and locals from various sectors, generations, political spaces. It is open to the participation of all those who agree with its positions and operating framework.
We agreed on an adequate political framework of positions, so that there are conditions for continuity in the action and existence of the Movement.
The Movement seeks to coordinate actions with immigrant communities and with the bodies of the movement that are active in supporting refugees and immigrants.
It also seeks to connect with related movements in other countries.
It is addressed to support its interventions in labor unions, student associations, regional struggle collectives, anti-fascist, anti-racist, anti-war, and popular freedom movements.
The Movement is bound by the framework of positions agreed upon at its founding assembly, as well as its operating framework.
It operates collectively with open democratic assembly procedures and with an open coordination committee that meets regularly.
It is based on the synthesis of opinions, without the requirement of unanimity or the existence of a veto by the members participating in it. The opinion of all female fighters counts equally whether they are members or representatives of unions, cinema collectives, labor groups, movements, political organizations, or participate as individuals.
To support its goals, communication, information and updates, it creates social networking media (email, blog, fb page, etc)
