Call for a rally at Syntagma Square on Tuesday, May 5, at 7 p.m., for the release of Saif and Tiago from Israeli prison.
The Internationalist Movement of Solidarity and Struggle for the Rights of Refugees and Migrants “Struggle Without Borders – Struggle Without Borders” categorically condemns the abduction, torture, and continued illegal detention of Tiago Avila and Saif Abu-Kaseh, activists and members of the “Global Sumud Flotilla,” at the Israeli Shikma prison camp in Ashkelon, following the arbitrary decision by the Israeli court to extend their detention.
It also unequivocally condemns the servile and shameful stance of the Greek government, which colluded with the murderous state of Israel in the above, allowing the interception of the flotilla’s ships, actively participating in the transport of all the abducted activist members to Crete, and subsequently allowing the abduction of Tiago and Saif on Greek soil and their transfer to the Israeli jail. During the two and a half years of the genocide of the Palestinian people, the Greek government has not only failed to take any initiative to end it, but is supporting in every way the Zionist state’s intention to impose the “final solution.” The descendants of Nazi collaborators who are currently in the government are continuing their work without hiding their faces.
The majority of our people has historically supported the Palestinian people’s struggle for freedom, because they themselves have written glorious chapters in the struggle against occupation, imprisonment, exile, and executions.
The Internationalist Movement of Solidarity and Struggle for the Rights of Refugees and Migrants “Struggle Without Borders” calls today, Tuesday, May 5, at 7 p.m., to a rally at Syntagma Square demanding the immediate release of our comrades and activists Saif and Tiago from Israeli prisons.
